By downloading, accessing, or using TestSpeeds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app or website.

The words “TestSpeeds,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the operator of the TestSpeeds app and website. The words “you” and “your” refer to any person who accesses or uses TestSpeeds.

TestSpeeds is a network utility app designed to help users understand connection quality. Depending on the version and platform, TestSpeeds may provide features such as:

• Uses the service to test, scan, or attack networks or services without authorization;
• Misrepresents TestSpeeds results or uses them in a misleading, harmful, or unlawful manner.

5. Test Results and Accuracy

Network test results can vary based on many factors, including your device, signal strength, Wi‑Fi quality, mobile carrier, routing, server load, VPN or proxy settings, background activity, and third-party network conditions.

TestSpeeds attempts to provide useful and readable measurements, but results are estimates and may not match results from other testing tools, internet service providers, or third-party platforms. You should not rely on TestSpeeds as the sole basis for critical technical, business, financial, or legal decisions.

6. Network, IP, and Location Information

TestSpeeds may display network information such as public IP address, network type, carrier information, test server information, approximate IP-based location, and nearby speed points. IP-based location is approximate and does not necessarily represent your exact physical location.

Map and location-related information may depend on your device settings, network provider, third-party data sources, or system permissions. Some data may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete.

7. Third-Party Services and Platforms

TestSpeeds may check the availability or response status of selected third-party services, websites, or platforms. These services are not owned or controlled by TestSpeeds. Their availability, performance, policies, content, and technical behavior may change at any time.

References to third-party names, logos, services, or platforms are for identification and testing purposes only. TestSpeeds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those third-party services unless explicitly stated.

8. Privacy

Your use of TestSpeeds may involve the processing of certain information necessary to provide network testing and app functionality, such as network status, IP-related information, test results, device-related technical data, and diagnostic information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device issues, network costs, or inability to access third-party services.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, to use TestSpeeds during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
